Subject Guide: Chemistry Literature Courses

Chemistry Literature Courses

Introduction

The UW-Madison Chemistry Department does not offer a course devoted to chemistry literature. On this campus chemistry information is taught in the context of specific courses. Drop-in workshops, subject guides, individual consultation, and reference books on the topic are used to support chemistry information fluency. Additionally there are several excellent online syllabi that can be used to gain an understanding of the nature and structure of chemistry information. Faculty, instructors, and students are encouraged to contact Emily Wixson, Chemistry Librarian/Reference and Instruction, (608-262-4423) for more information.
